Sadee

She entered our world full of spunk in real PWD style.  True to the working breed and traits where jobs require strong, busy mouths, she took to using them on everything and everyone. it was a battle of the wills for a while but once we put some basic training techniques to good use things started to fall into place. Today, all those that meet her find it difficult to believe she was ever a challenge at all.  She matured into a wonderful walker and a welcome snuggler, especially if she senses you were not feeling well.  Cindy earned a CD title and Arielle helped Sadee earn her Canine Good Neighbour test, a Junior Water Dog Certificate, a Rally Novice (CL) title, as well as two qualifying scores toward a Canadian CDX obedience title.  Sadee has been retired from competition and enjoys her home life where she is adored by all who visit her. Sadee passed away at twelve years old in loving arms….we thank her for enriching our lives and introducing us to this wonderful breed.

-Sadee was fifth Portuguese Water Dog in 2006 for the Top Obedience Dog Award presented by Dogs In Canada.

-Arielle and Sadee placed first in the Novice obedience class at the Portuguese Water dog Club of America National Specialty in 2005.
